A couple of quib...Very interesting and informative. A couple of quibbles, though. It says, "a large contingent of Scottish warriors under John Stewart who were there more or less only to fight the English." That makes it sound a bit like they were there for a bit of amusement! Scotland was France's ally throughout the Hundred Years War because they thought that a weakened England would be less of a threat to them. It says, that the Scots...were overwhelmed and slaughtered almost to a man" but my information is that they lost 1,200 out of a total of 3,000 killed on the Franco-Scottish side. That would have left about 2,800 of them still alive. Nobody knows the real truth about the casualties, of course. It also says, "Salisbury ordered a most unenlightened mass charge..."
